Trump and his team seem to have declared there are two types of 'fact' there are 'facts' and 'alternative facts'.
How can his spokeswoman stand there with a straight face and announce that there are 'Facts' and 'Alternative Facts'?

I suspect it was an attempt to suggest you can believe one set of claimed facts or another. The question is, who is being deceitful.

Then the spokesperson goes on to say that 'we will have to rethink our relationship with these people'
Meaning the parts of the media that refuse to accept without question his 'alternative facts'.
So is he going to recruit 'tame media' that do accept with out question anything he says?

It's all about setting the record straight. You certainly cannot always believe the media but the same is true of the administration.

I guess one has to draw one's own conclusions as to the likely reality of a situation.

It was over the size of the crowd at his inauguration . His spokesman said ''it was the largest crowd for any inauguration in history, Fact ! ''. But aerial photographs clearly showed it was far smaller than the crowd at Obama's inauguration.
What is not in dispute is the 'fact' that there were record numbers of people protesting against his inauguration!
