no. As I said on the other thread it's pointless trying to sort out "politics" from "news". There may be news that isn't politics; there won't be politics that isn't news. Who knows where Brexit would have to go?
I think it might be very useful. News has been getting too bogged down of late.
I voted but it doesn't show?

I don't see how it can be done. Politics really enters into most news in the blame culture we live in.
Prince Andrew/Footballers kicking cats/Post Office Scandal/ Natural disasters - all News and not necessarily Political.
Jno, we often have politics that isn’t ‘news’ posted in ‘news’. Your Brexit example … for example. ‘Brexit wins the referendum’ was news. ‘Will the Uk ever rejoin the EU?’ isn’t.

Have you reported all 10 today Tors, as they seem to all gone bar one.

As previously stated I don’t agree with subcategories full stop.
I’d have a sort of “news but not actually news” category to replace Politics and Current affairs
Don’t forget jno this is supposed to be a site where people ask questions and get answers.
What if someone has a question about politics that’s not necessarily anything to do with the news.
Or something along those lines.
see what I mean? no wonder news has lost all credibility as a category.
naomi, Brexit remains a political story: I can't sort out the mysteries of the Irish Sea, politicians must.
No, I don't see what you mean - where are the 10 threads you mentioned?

If they have gone then it's being monitored.
sorry, that posted early: but it also remains a news story.
It’s not difficult, Jno. If it’s news post it in news. If it isn’t , don’t.
