Hi all with the change of venue a lot fewer teams this season, but with the return of the Premier League this weekend here's how we're looking:

Hi L.I.K. the break must be doing you some good, more time to focus on your team.

I wasn't sure how it was going to look similar way to how I copy and edit the Sky one... seems ok.

Same here I used play this one before the Sky one as you can imagine a lot has changed in the past ten years plus to the site.

i'm playing a very passive role. I've not managed to change my team, nor have I used any of the things like wildcards or benchoboosts. I don't understand how subs work either- I had Antonio as a sub last round and he scored 18 points but none of them were included in my meagre weekly total.

I think my team will continue a slow slide down the AB table.

Hi NMA, Only your selected starting Eleven gain points, As all you outfield players played during the game week Antonio wouldn't have replaced Watkins or Haaland. 

If one of your other fielded players hadn't have played (They all did) then the Auto Sub would've replaced one of them changing your formation from 4-4-2 to say 4-3-3, I think as that's how it used to work.

However for sure if Haaland or Watkins hadn't played and not got you any points then, The Forward player would be replaced by another Forward (Antonio) keeping your 4-4-2 formation.

Wildcards etc... I'm still working on that?

I also used to play this game back in the day but i lost interest after just a few seasons.

Since picking my team at the beginning of the season, i haven't even looked at the site....until just now where i find i'm carrying 4 players who have been out for some time with injuries.

I have just made some transfers, only to find that, once confirmed, i will lose 4 points? I'm already in danger of being relegated!! 🙃

Yes if you don't have any free transfers left then for each transfer thereafter points deducted.

Yeah, i had to make quite a few, what with the injuries. I also have one or two players who are suffering from the rotation system employed by our top clubs.

Problem is, we have so many clubs involved in European comps, it's difficult not to fall foul of the rotation system when selecting players.

Indeed, rotation or not... even if fielded it's hit or miss whether United are too busy scratchin' their asses on the pitch.

Ken you may have just got in there in time, the game is now updating unlike the Sky one you can't make changes when the game week as started. Unlike Sky where you could make changes daily before the first KO of each day.

Any changes made now will not go into effect until the next game week.

Hi all I now know you can't change anything to your team once the Gameweek has Kicked off and any changes will not take effect until the next gameweek. Todays KO is:

Fri 25th Leicester V Nott'm Forest is at 8pm.

However the deadline is 90 minutes before the first KO of a given game week. so any changes captains etc... before 6:30pm maybe helpful any after will be helpful for me.

Well hard to tell until it updates itself, I don't think Ken made it in time last week unsure of that as well... but maybe when it starts updating is the true deadline? But I only read today about the 90 minutes beforehand.
