Back in 2018 my son and his girlfriend split up and she lost custody of their two daughters. The courts awarded custody to me. She went on to have another baby by someone else which was removed from her at birth. Now, they are back together. My question is this. If they have another baby would it automatically be taken from them as her third baby was, and more than likely given to me?

Not necessarily

Depends on why she lost custody

Question Author

She neglected the two girls, she preferred playing her PlayStation to being a mum.

It was also 7 years ago, she may now be able to prove that she has changed and grown up (assuming that she was young in 2018).

She wasn't given a chance with her 3rd baby.  Obviously you are going to get dispassionate answers here, you appear to have more insight than we do.

Where is the third baby?

Her third baby was put up for adoption

it depends on the fact at the time and The children act always applies, - the interestss of that child is paramount

this is really a " what we think" rather than what we advise

"if this......" and "if that ....." - you have to  wait and see....
