1. Will their being at the EU table help us get our own way, for example on agricultural policy or Iraq? This was one reason why we supported the acession of Poland, Hungary et al in 2004
2. Is there a surplus of labour from Turkey that we can use in our job market? Again this has infamously been the case since 2004 with Polsh workers filling gaps in the UK labour market: doing the jobs and for the pay that no one in the UK wanted to do.
