Mr Speaker appears to be unconcerned that MPs have been abusing the system but is concerned they have been found out. Should he go? Also should MPs now be stripped of their title The Hon?

Call a general election and only the honest MPs can stand again.
He's more concerned about who has 'squealed' than about the despicable crimes perpetrated upon the British public.

Should he go?-yes, but not before he's served the prison term which would have been the lot of any 'ordinary' citizen.

I will never vote again.

If you don't vote you are putting them back in again. Vote against them. Personally I'm looking for a third party to vote for. The labour and conservatives are too close to each other to be able to tell the difference.
erm, and what exactly has he done that merits a prison term, Fink-Knottle?
He's fought tooth and nail to cover up the the massive fraud which is only now coming to light.

Doesn't that make him guilty of aiding of aiding and abetting those MPs who are guilty of obtaining a pecuniary advantage by deception?

Is that, erm, clear enough for you jno?

It seems to me there is also conspiracy to defraud.
he's been defending the processes of the House of Commons, which is his job.

Would you like him tried for doing his job before he's thrown into prison, or would this be a waste of public money when you already know he's guilty?
Question Author
jno you are absolutely wrong. He should be defending the traditions, procedures and reputation of the House. Yes. But he is not. He is not interested in finding out those who have transgressed he is only interested in finding out how the information has been leaked. He is a disgrace to the nation.
