Are being interviewed on TV, the presenter said how well she is looking, which she is! only to have Eamonn butt-in and say, "Thats the make-up. ........He got a Ooooooooh from the audience for that. He's not a very pleasant man atall.

I think eamonn and ruth are solid enough for this banter. If he meant his "insults" she'd know. To me they come across as a very happy and relaxed couple and totally at ease with each other in what they say and do.

Some may think he's funny,from what I've seen I don't find him amusing, it's not funny to belittle your wife, well I don't think it is anyway, especially not on live TV!
