This has gone a long way in convincing me that the EDL make a lot of sense when it comes to their views on Muslamic Law (not my phrase).

I am sure the mainstream parties have supporters who are very dim, so it is a bit unfair on the EDL to put this village idiot up as a typical candidate.

On the other hand, the EDL seem to openly welcome anyone regardless of their extreme views that it is easy to discredit them by interviewing an ex-BNP supporter with learning difficulties.

The answer is for the EDL to define more narrowly define what they support, and discourage people with extremist views. Though taking away the idiots, wouldn't leave much left.

I didn't watch it right through. In fact I felt sorry for the poor chap being inveigled into doing something which he is obviously not suited for. I don't think he even understood what was going on.
