I had a root canal it cost about £300 plus had the full works on it followed by a fill and then a fake new top, it's nearly a year old and it has a hole in it. Is it normal to have some kind of warranty on work like this? They said the tooth would last years and it was stronger than a normal tooth.

Any advice, thanks in advance

Bit of a radical suggestion but.....
Have you thought of complaining to the people who did the work?
Take it back!
I'm sure they will fix it if you state what was promised initially ..
Great if you have the bill for it too (but I bet you don't!)

I am good keeping bills so should have the bill somewhere :)

I just suspect they will claim its because of this or that and I will have to pay
If they do say those things, be firm and say that you expect a replacement.

thanks :)
what sort of a hole, what_the? I've got crowns and root canals, touch wood several years without any problems at all. Was it done by your regular dentist? If so, go back and kick up a fuss.
yep, I would go back and complain.
