Hopkirk: "If this result is repeated nationwide, then Nick Clegg is going to be a bit sad tonight."

I imagine he spends most evenings sobbing in the foetal position on a bed of his shattered integrity. So tonight will make no difference.

Gromitt I so hope you are right.
A vote for AV is a vote for the Liberals. We have seen enough of that shower already without giving them more control.
Labour back in !!!!!!!!!!! god help us.
<<How are you voting today?>>
I love the old saying, "Vote early and often"
I'm voting No.
the Biritish vote No to everything (except 'Would you like us to give you more money?'), so no surprises here.
Vote early, vote often, is said to come from Northern Ireland where electoral corruption used to be rife.
mike......was also said in Chicago when Mayor Daley once got 110% of the vote.
Apparently when Kennedy was elected it was a very tight race. Illinois was a key swing state and Kennedy asked Mayor Daley how many votes he could deliver. Daley's reply was, "How many votes do you want?'
He may have 110% of the number of eligable votes, but he'd find it hard to get more than 100% of the vote. ;-)
a definate no from me AV is a crackpot idea.
well, exactly, Old Geezer, this was an indication that Something Was Up.
Where AB leads the nation follows, though to be fair I don't expect the NOES to win by SUCH a large margin.
Yes, normally you can't see how the votes are being cast before you vote.
I've already voted NO. Either FPTP or PR, not this wishy washy AV sop. Morning to one and all.
