I found a website that stated the foreskin as "one of God's little mistakes" what a load of old ballocks. It's forced mutilation of the genitals, gross sexual abuse - simple as that.
I wouldn't call it sexual abuse as the intent behind it isn't sexual...

It certainly is mutilation though

I researched as best as I can an apparently its like boys rites of passage in other places. Jumping out of trees with vines attached to their ankle, tattoos, eating a deer heart. Stuff like that.

Oh dude, I wouldn't do this to any son of mine. Nor do I condone it. But 1500 in just over a half a day is a lot of boys. The more I research it the more pics and I think I'm done. Its first known recording is in the late 1500's or the early 1600's. They think it might have come from Muslims but other sources say no.
A 35y man had this procedure 3y ago, due to some discomfit at intercourse; the relationship subsequently ended and none has taken its place. I do wonder if the procedure was at fault.

I don't know what sort of discomfort he was having or how long it would take to heal. Mine was done just after I was born so I'm clueless about having one. I'd say if he was willing to get snipped at 35 there were other issues at work.

Its interesting in that the Roman Catholic church denounces it and 85% of the island is RC.
