Ceilidh, Line Dancing, Zumba, Ballroom.

I've done line dancing, I felt like a prat but I suppose it was masochistically enjoyable.... and in my youth I went to ballroom classes which I loved. There are tea dances at the Town Hall these days but they are in the day when I am working, and OH has two left feet so that's no good.

the first 2 are no-no's for me, but I've done Zumba.. the teacher was morbidly obese but definitely "lovin it", bouncing all over the place. and I did ballroom/Latin American dancing for a while, that was great fun but mostly for the "older generation".. I would think Strictly may have made it more fashionable since then! :o)

I've done a salsa exercise classes and it is very energetic.

I went to a Ceilidh once in a pub near Pit Lockrey[ sorry cant spell it] and we had a marvellous time all the locals did their "party piece" it was the day after my pals wedding and all of us 6 sacenachs plus 2 kids were made very welcome , went back a few years later and the young lass who did a great sword dance was married with a baby.
Line dancing I loved but was like a baby elephant whilst hubby was an absolute natural and we joined severl classes,even went to a lIne Dance covention at Disney Paris by coach, we stopped going when his sight stared to fail.
