Yes I like Obama and I think he`s more charismatic than JFK because he doesn`t have the dodgy "connections" that Kennedy had

No
He may need a little more than charisma but yes, why not?
what, rather than Nick Clegg? Never!
Don't know if I'd vote for him, I don't know enough about his policies, but the man can carry a speech, he was very good in Parliament today.

jno.... who^s nick clegg ?
he's from Chicago and he has dodgy connections - ask about who financed his "mansion" there - the "donor" has been sent down for a stay at HMs no His President's Pleasure.

Chicago was highly influential on JFK getting the vote in Illinois thanks to Joe K and his "cronies"......the number of votes involved in that fiasco was far smaller than GB in Florida re the chads and all that.......that information fact shut my big-mouthed US "Milly" up who is a committed Democrat when it was pointed out to her.

Mil = Mother in Law
Dunno, but he's definitely fanciable isn't he?
I thought he was from Hawaii?
Yes definately, but I wish Cameron wasn't so trigger happy trying to cojole him into upping the war efforts especially in Libya.

cameron is in awe of him, and will agree with anything suggested by obama. imo
So Rov, you are prepared to allow some murderous loon like Gadaffi, a la Hitler, murder his own people. Glad I don't live near you.....
No. I don't think he has what it takes.
DT, are you sure Rov1100 doesnt live near you, maybe a neighbour :-)

I agree gran - a little too PR driven I think....and the speech today, though well reasoned and constructed, it lacked true leadership and inspiration in answering the question that begged itself, "What I will do or what David and I will do.

Answering this would have put some concepts of leadership and plans together to give a distinct forward conclusion to a well argued speech, the true mark of a leader by the way......

DC now has his opportunity to make his International Statesman mark, mind you, with that absence from OB.
