A child in my daughter's class didnt turn up to her party. She definitely confirmed to me she was coming (via an adult) but on the day I kept everyone waiting for 15 mins before giving up. This made the party over run and to be honest it has p1ssed me off.
We have been away since and today was the first time I have been into school so I saw the mum in question who I hardly know. She has said nothing to me, no apology no nothing. Her child told mine she didnt know when the party was which is crap because she had an invite like everyone else. Part of me wants to confront the mother but I dont know her and I dont want to look stupid! I wouldnt dream of doing that to someone else and if it were genuine would feel mortified and apologise. So should I say anything or not?

"So, your beastly little sprog thought it was okay to stand up my daughter, and all her pals?
I suppose your brat got a "better offer" at the last minute?
Well, don't bother trying to think of a flimsy excuse, because your little wretch was not missed and, frankly, all the other girls were totally glad she didn't come."
Does that work any better?

I cant remember if it was mum herself who told me she was coming but somebody definitely did! It was a make your own pizza party at pizza hut and I didnt want to start until everyone was here. I thought she was just running late. Thankfully I didnt have to pay in the end but the mum doesnt know that does she? Unless shes on here reading this lol.
