Andy Gray phone hacking payout
.......a small victory for him over his former employer after the pathetic way they sacked him over a bit of sexist banter
Sexist banter that goes on in many workplaces countrywide, why can't women just have a laugh about it and give as good back?

Errrr....
Isn't the original question confused about events here?
The link says that the payout is from News International (NoW) for hacking his phone messages.
It has nothing to do with previous employers, his dismissal or his stupid behaviour at work.
"This concludes the action Andy Gray was taking over voicemail interception in relation to the News of the World."

In a way I can see this from the other side as when I finished at the pit I went to work in a factory producing frozen cakes etc and when I first started I was one of only a handfull men who actually went onto the factory and believe me the when you're the only bloke on a factory floor manned by 6oo women you soon grow a thick skin or get another job
Gray and Keys were sacked by Sky for offending women with their sexist banter
Anton du Beke kept his job with the BBC despite calling his Strictly Come Dancing partner a '***'
I would've thought du Beke's comment was far more offensive than womens knowledge of the offside rule being criticised?
The difference is Gray and Keys were disliked at Sky and were dispensible, whereas du Beke is one of the stars of SCD so the Beeb obviously didn't want to lose him
