Kittens

Here's an update from my previous thread.
4 of my kittens have been taken to various homes, people that we trusted and we knew would be able to look after them. Although they where in the same boat as us, not knowing fully how to look after their cute lil cat.
They are alive, healthy and developing quickly.
Our cat, which I KNOW is a girl, but the in-law thinks different so has named her Brian, is growing up fast, it now eats solids, be it biscuits or kitten meat.
It is hyperactive, like a kid with ADD after eating blue smarties and drinking loads of orange juice, its very playful, loves chewing wires (how do I disipline against this btw, i've tried a tap on the bum, baring my teeth and hissing at it to no avail).
It pees and poos in its litter box, and it wasn't hard to train at all...
One question though, why does it go hide underneath the bed to sleep, it sometimes sleeps in the bed we have provided for it, but it prefers to sleep under the bed.
Oh, and another thing, it seems scared to leave the room, we do have dogs, but this shouldn't be a problem as the Lapapso's love it death and clean it regularly. The Border Collie - Heinz 57 (or 37) cross is terrified of the little bundle of fur, how do I get her used to it?
I will post pics later.... :)
