Couldn't the government just throw money at their leadership? That seems to have worked in the past.

did it, and why don't we drop them like a hot potato and get the hell out of the place.
I guess because we don't want to be seen as a country that is willing to just give territory away if there is enough violence. It'll only encourage some folk, and there'll be no end to it.
there's no end to it, caught in the middle, the story of Ireland is as old as methuselah, and even with the Peace Accord the factions keep on fighting.

It's there parents fault .. They keep brainwashing them with the catholics hate protestant and vice the versa nonesense..Its the same in scotland..even the football teams ie celtic and rangers hate each other and until the marches and religious clubs like the UVF are banned outlawed. it will always be the same..
