Petition Wording
I'm a member of a residenntial committee that has been working closely with independant housing advisors over regeneration on an estate. The majority of houses are occupied by local authority tenants although there are a handful of owner-occupied properties.
The local authority have told the advisors directly that they are no longer required. Now although the local authority agreed to finance the costs of the advisors, they have agreed all allong not to have any input in their management. The advisors were working for the tenants and owners alone.
No written contract was in place between the advisors and the council. Invoices were paid on a monthly basis upon submission to the local council.
The majority of residents are up in arms over the authority pulling the plug.
how can we word a petitition for the residents to sign if they choose, showing that the community are opposed to such a move?
