did you read some of the comments, it seems that some on their message board have the same points, and without being rude, once you are sucked into benefits system, with help for housing, council tax, dla, and others then its quite difficult to get out of it, or that mentality.

and if you want to move you need money
others do it, notably many poles, who may have come from as bad a financial situation, but decided that better to move away for a time, than be unemployed or effectively on the scrap heap. And the longer you are unemployed the harder it is to get a job, or for employers to see you as a viable candidate. Does it go into why there are no jobs, i didn't read all the piece, not just coal mines closing?

thing is em it is different for 4 or 6 single polish lads to share a house and find a job and a mr jones who has a wife and kids
if mr jones leaves his wife to find work she has to notify the benefits people straight away. he will not get any benefit money straight away plus he needs money for rent etc

if you are going to move you need money and when you are on rock bottom it is hard to get up
DF i have been at rock bottom, and know just how hard it is, and i didn't get any help whatsoever, i was left in debt through no fault of my own and had to put it right, which i did, though it was horrible, but we have become without being insulting to many who have lost a cherished job, career, something of back seat drivers, expecting others to do things for us, without looking at all the options available. A man who has lost his job and has a family to support, well what about the wife, if he can't find something for the time being. The benefits system is a muddle i grant you, and time someone sorted out that if you get a job, should give you enough time to settle, before cancelling benefits.

the thing what gets me the most about benefits the most is if you have always worked and become ill they treat you like s***. nobody wants to go and sign on .
yet you have others that have never worked and they never bother with them.
