I think the begging letters are the least concern myself. These idiots have only themselves to blame for going public. I fail to seehow this money is going to do them any good if they have to keep on looking over their shoulder or moving.

I'm calling shenanigans on this - it's a made-up story because you have a couple with no skeletons in the closet who've had some great fortune (and good luck to them!).

They've been forced to flee to spain - I reckon boIIocks to this too - it ot that, or is it just bit possible that they've done what I would do and go on holiday to take a breath and get your head around such a life-changing event?

Good job they can afford first class now, they'd be physicaly uncomfortable in economy, they're obese because of ill health and medication I guess, they should relax and take things slowly as their good health won't return just because they are loaded. The worst place they could be is somewhere hot where they will retain fluids and upset their metabolism, but they may well have just gone to a remote Scottish Castle to chill out, the spanish story could be rubbish. Let's hope they are able to enjoy this for a few years and keep healthy,

come to think of it, and again, I am chuffed for them and they are strangers ot me and so no animosity BUT, 2 cars? takeways 2 or 3 times a week? They do't work, why 2 cars? plus, here fish and chips twice with a bottle of coke would bee the best part of 10 quid, 20 - 30 pounds a week on just 3 meals? this is not a family on benfits

OK two things

I use to work as a postman and when we had someone go public in our area after a win, the mail volume for them increased considerably, so much it had to be sacked up for delivery.

Earlier this year, or maybe late last year, there was the previous largest win and they didn't go public. I daresay people who didn't need to know found out or suspected, but as far as we know, they are enjoying the win without hassles. Maybe they do have some, but if I saw them in the street, I wouldn't have a clue. If I saw these two in the street, and I had the sort of mentality that some have, then maybe I might be tempted to try an cash in in some way.

Who said they were on benefits? They are both retired on private pensions. They have income from several properties they own.

They might be entitled to non-means tested incapacity benefits and disability living allowance but those benefits are paid regardless of savings.

If they handle their wealth as well as their health they wont have to worry about it for long.

I had thought of writing to them as 2 days interest on the amount will cover all my debts. I wont bother if they have gone away as I need it now!
