I don't really think this is going to hurt News Corp's US business - I don't buy this 9/11 hacking claims (which came from the Mirror, right?) - but if they prove to be true, the whole corporation is going to be in the deepest trouble.

No problem boxtops.
Whilst I doubt Sir Paul will be accused of any wrongdoing I was more than intrigued by the stance Andy Hayman took in frint of the select committee.
As a former Met ACC and NOTW employee my first thought was 'methinks he doth protest too much'.
No doubt there are further revelations and resignations in the coming days and weeks.

Sir Paul seemed confident he was leaving with integrity intact. I'm not so sure. He had a meeting with the Guardian in which he tried to get the paper to lay off the hacking story, saying their reports were exaggerated and wrong. He didn't mention that he'd recently hired the NotW's ex-deputy editor as an adviser. In fact this didn't come out until the last few days.
