A good selection of photos of the carnage caused by this mob of hooligans.
The EDL are often described on here as 'knuckle dragging Neanderthals', but it is these bunch of savages that fit that description much more.
The usual excuses were spewed out on late night radio, by individuals that could hardly speak English, with their part word street language, every sentence ending with "you know what I mean man"? and 'yeh'. These 'British citizens' are mostly second generation Britain's, didn't they get a state education, if they did it doesn't show.
The excuses included such gems as "the police didn't show compassion to the dead man's family."
I wonder if his family would have shown compassion to the policeman's family, if the gangster's bullet had killed the policeman instead of luckily hitting his radio?
"Tottenham is a run down, deprived area."
Yes they really helped to make it further run down last night didn't they?
"We are more likely to be stopped and searched than a white man."
Is it any wonder?
What the 'communities' would really like, and that is no police presence in their areas at all, even black police officers are treated with the same contempt as their white counterparts.
The police should now stop their 'treading on broken glass' attitude and immediately introduce a zero tolerance attitude towards these persons, and they could start by bringing out the water cannons.

That is true, they've even stopped me in my car, asking me if this was my car and where did I get the money to buy this. One officer was questioning me, whilst the other walked around the car, kicking my tyres as he went!
They've even stopped my sons for no reason at all, it has bcome the norm, but very tiresome norm.
And as for my husband, well I don't know how he does it, but everytime he is stopped, he is far too polite to the police, whereas I would be effing and blinding.

Juat another question about this riot. WHY were they still looting in daylight ! Should the police not be allowing people on those streets. Seems slightly daft that under normal circumstances you can call the police and they respond to shoplifters but apparantly they now are turning a blind eye !
Not to mention the insurance companies watching all this looting going on. I am fed up with this nicely nicely attitude. I agree with others here - they may think twice if a) tear gas / water canons / rubber bullets etc were used under these circumstances and b) when they hopefully get those yobs they lock them up for 30 years - not give them community service.
This must look very welcoming for those who are looking forward to the Olympics next year - what an utter disgrace.
