9 Echo...ech = augment as used by Shakespeare and o = first letter in Othello. No misprint.
16 Mise...note = me as in doh, ray, me...around is = island. No misprint.

Sorry but very frowned upon to ask questions about the Listener. I don't want to get into a heavy debate - it's all been said before and always gets very heated (search if interested). All I can say is it's not more or moor.

Having just given a hint myself(sorry!), nevertheless I agree with Quizmonkey.
There's always a thread on the weekly Listener in which one or two kind souls will email hints to those newbies and others who are stuck. Always worth checking that first
