UPDATE on W/E away with hubby

Hey guys, i wanted to give you all a quick update of what happened on our weekend away (well not all the things....)

We had a really good chat again on the Friday night and my OH now realises the extent of my feelings so rather than saying he is absolutely adamant that he does not want kids, he has asked that we dont consider them for the moment, lets have our christmas etc and then in six months we should take some time to talk it through. This will give him time to get his head round things and he was adamant that i was not to take this as a brush off for 6months for him then to just do the same to me. We will talk about it together and decide what is best for both of us.

Im pretty happy that he is at least taking the time to consider and not jumping right in to the vasectomy idea so i guess its all a step in the right direction.

The Saturday and Sunday felt just like old times, having lots of laughs and lots of fun.

Looks like a weekend away from it all has done us the world of good.

good - whatever happens, maintaing good relations and not making a big deal of it is very important. People do change minds - maybe it'll be him, maybe it'll be you. Nobody knows what the future may hold.

good news and so pleased that he has acknowledged that your feelings are important and the issue is something that needs careful consideration. just make sure that you do not let the issue drop in six months or whenever it may become another problem for YOU - and hold him to his word. i hope you can trust him on this...good luck x
