In view of this shocking rise in crime due entirely to the high influx of Eastern Europeans into the country, isn't it now time for the EU to pass laws that make the various European countries responsible for their own citizens crimes?
By this I mean, after they have been caught and convicted, they are then deported back to the country from where they came to serve out their sentences in their own countries jails, along with a permanent ban on ever returning to Britain.

While I'd agree with booting violent criminals out and banning them from ever coming back, there has to be a degree of difficulty as it were. Or would you have every Brit who commits a minor crime abroad banned from ever having another holiday?

this is from 2007, so bit out of date, not all motoring offences?

if anyone has actually read the whole piece, admittedly its quite lengthy, shouldn't this be a good indicator that the open door, EU policy of cross border come and go as you please should be firmly shut. As we already have enough home grown criminals, time to put these people out of Britain, once and for all.
