Apparently a group of old soldiers are going to open a free school in order to apply the lessons of Deepcut barracks to the delicate subject of education. Any thoughts?

LOL I think they might find running a school is a little more complicated than they think. After the 100 allegations of sexual abuse and bullying - and the four suicides - at Deepcut you would think they would have learned their lesson but no.

The only lessons i link to deepcut are allegations of a culture of bullying and the suicide of cadets - They dont seem particularly positive lessons....

I went to a school where there was bullying and a suicide. Does that make me a bad person just as I went to that school? No. About time schools had discipline and self respect and morals as it's centre. Good for those guys. At least they are trying.

My school has discipline and self respect at its core ... and a distinct absence of bullying and suicides for some reason. Perhaps because the staff are trained to do their job and not trained killers. I'm just saying.
