One of my friends told me that it is legal to wee against the back wheel of a parked car against a curb - in a strange old law loophole. Is he pulling my leg or is it true?

It's perfectly legal for him. Assuming you are, as your name suggests, a girl, I'm afraid it's not so for you, however. It's one of those laws that has never been repealed since it would cost more in time and money to do so, than to leave it along. However, other laws would superceed it, and you'd be a brave/ foolish man who attempted to use it as a defence in court!

I am a girl - well done - and guess I'll have to be more careful after my saturday night drinking sessions in future (I don't really...honest). Thank you!
I know that a male friend of mine was having a wee in the early hours of the morning in an allyway where he thought no-one could see him, and the police caught him and did him for indecent exposure. Personally I thought it was quite funny!! pass that one onto your male friend and see what he has to say!
It was a law passed for the relief of cab drivers in the nineteenth century. It became legal for a commercial driver (one who drives as part of his employment) to relieve himself on the nearsdide rear wheel of his vehicle. Rear because it would not then splash on the occupants of the hansom when he moved off.
Not in Scotland
It is legal for a male to urinate in public, as long it is on the rear wheel of his motor vehicle and his right hand is on the vehicle.
