Slaves 'Squalid' Conditions
I've just come across this article on the DM site which shows pictures of where the apparent slaves were living.
http://www.dailymail....tims-claim-happy.html
Aside from the duvets needing a good wash and the kitchen could do with a wipe down, am I the only one that can't really see the squalor?

If they came from soupl kitchens etc then it has to be far better than a bench or a cardboard box.
No doubt quite a few do not want Plod to know who they are so would be naturally unwilling to co operate?
From the Cambridge dictionary, a slave is defined as:
"a person who is legally owned by someone else and has to work for them". I doubt very much they were legally owned, so why are they called slaves? More like underpaid servants I would have thought.
