Do we really need this kind of spectacle while this country is already struggling to deal with the aggressiveness of so many youths today??? Sorry, but I do not agree with this kind of thing at all! This is not as regulated as boxing, which I also dislike, but is far safer and well regulated. I would think that the kinds of injuries these children can sustain would be far wider reaching than in boxing, i.e severe back & neck injuries injuries, especially as they have no protective gear. When are we going to start concentrating on helping our children to understand that aggression and beating others up for the fun of it are not acceptable? I detest these brainless, macho type fathers who think they have to make their kids look as hard as possible! They are pathetic!!!
Carakeel; boxing is not necessarily safer, I refer you to the fatality stats in boxing compared to MMA.
