Star....what?
<I feel sorry for the doctor who has been made a scapegoat just to please the Jackson family.> He gave him drugs that should only be administered in a hospital....
< And of course to increase the sales of all the records.> So, are you saying he killed him to increase record sales...?
I sometimes wonder what planet people are on!!

ummmm - I didn't make myself clear. Michael Jackson should be left to rest in peace. It is the Jackson family whom I am disgusted with and their digging up scandal which should have been left to die with him. This will increase the sales of his records, posthumously, and I feel that this is wrong. Perhaps I am too cynical about them.
I think any money made posthumously is a good thing as it will only go to his children and all have been deprived of any potential money made if Jacko was living. Its really sad that his children will never see their father perform in public as he banned them from rehersals to surprise them with the live concert.
The trial was heartbreaking to watch, knowing that Jackson could have been saved so easily. To me, he is a musical genius and a huge loss in talent.
Murray was negligent by not having any of the medical equipment required when he administered the drugs to Jackson, his own words condemmed him that he had been administering such for some time, Jackson's death was in Murray's hands and it was only a question of time.
If Murray really cared about him and tried to wean him of the drug dependency permitted by Jackson's other doctors then I think he should have given Jackson what he needed to get him through the concerts ensuring that all safety equipment was there incase something went wrong and then he should have tried to wean him of the drugs. If he really cared he would have told him that his kids would not want to see him overdosed on tv.
But I think Murray became starry-eyed with Jackson and his own potential earnings as a doc to him that the doctor - patient relationship became one of greed and abuse of a vulnerable drug addict, whose dependency was not through recreational use but unfortunately brought through by his hair burning incident and thus reliance on corrupt doctors who leech of the rich and famous.

remove MJ from the equation. a cardiologist admits he gave drugs to a patient over a 2-3 month period in the patients home, without suitable monitoring equipement, he failed to alert the emergency services, he gave inappropriate CPR. he withheld vital information from the paramedics and then the emergency staff . the patient dies, did the said cardiologist do anything wrong, ?
