I posted on this one last night, DrF - universal disgust. It's been on the local TV news - he's identifiable - little sh1te was almost dancing down the street with the poor cat. He's a beautiful cat too - thankfully no lasting physical damage, he could have dislocated his tail. The cat is said to be placid so probably let him pick him up. I'd like get my hands on that...
If (and it's a big if) he gets caught he'll probably get a notional fine (which he won't pay), some community work hours (which he wont do) and walk away laughing. I can't better your suggestion DrFilth, would love to be there to witness it.
this absolutely shocking incident is getting local and national coverage (quite rightly so) - there was also a thread on here - with a good wind and a bit of luck the lowlife responsible for it will be feeling a little nervous now - I honestly wouldn't be surprised if someone comes up with a cash reward leading to his conviction.

Sorry but my usual liberal attitude goes out the window when it comes to the deliberate maiming of any living creature - I know it's hypocritical but it's the red mist talking.
And I agree with AP too jno, sorry. I do tend to keep a level head about most newsy type things, but deliberate animal cruelty ones really really upset me and make me angry enough to want physical damage done to the perpetrators.
Won't open the link, I would be too upset, but I honestly think that people who are cruel to animals would be cruel to people too, but they are too cowardly to pick on humans. I don't think there is a dividing line as far as cruelty is concerned and Dr Filth is right. It has been proved.
