Extremely so! And i agree it's the worst night of the week for TV. I tend to go out to avoid it.

If you're going to increase insurance for people who say they rush home for a TV programme, you'd better start doing it for people who drive red cars - they go faster you know.

They would need to bring saturday morning cartoons back for me, thundercats, x-men, cities of gold, bravestar, he-man... that sort of thing. I do like certain programs but they're mainly comedy which I can watch on i-player at my own convenience and not some tv schedulers or cooking progs. I think these days being able to choose when you watch a program rather than have it dictated to you is more important.

Yes maybe, but the programme that you watch at a later date, on i-player etc have to made for the TV schedules in the first place.

I only rush back from training on a Wednesday for Frozen Planet, so I'll be sat on the sofa for an hour stinking the get a shower once it's finished! Nice eh!

nearly a quarter of drivers in britain have been penalised for speeding in the past four years, according to official figures, so its likley that the 6% would probably be speeding anyway without laying reason to tv schedules.

The programmes on a Saturday evening are appalling, but popular, I do not understand why anyone would hurry home to watch them.

No. The other 19 may have been rushing for other reasons, but they were still rushing. Late for the hairdressers, perhaps?

I have always said but when people pour out of work and get in their cars its the worst period of the day to be out driving. I think there must be a correlation of those unhappy in their jobs and the instances of bad driving.

As you say Saturday is a bad day for watching TV and it seems the TV bosses have packed up and gone home for the week-end. Maybe when we get dancing on ice back soon there will be an improvement.
