I used to like Clarkson for his edgy irreverence when he first was on Top Gear, but he's become a bit boring now - all the same old stuff.

Having said that, I really don't see why anyone should get offended over his remarks - they're clearly just part of a grumpy old man persona that he's developed for TV. Not particularly funny, but hardly offensive.
