looks like some would-be buyer has hit on a good way of bringing the price of the property down.

How many victims did he have?
would anyone really want anything to do with him, i know i wouldn't. He could rot.
And now his picture has gone public hel find it hard to live anywhere ....
His picture was already public.
Does anyone have a link to the actual crime/s he was imprisoned for please? I can't be bothered to Google it myself :-P

But it seems unfair he has all that money. His victim should be able to sue for compensation
when did lotteries become "fair"? Unfairness is the whole point of them. He didn't have the money when he offended.

Look at this I have unearthed - he should not be out in opionion
He went to jail in 1989 after being identified as a rapist when he sent a picture of himself in an attempt to be a contestant on Winner Takes It All. He lost, went to court and was given a life sentence. I don't know the details of the offence, but the fact he got a life sentence would imply that it was at the most severe end of a particularly nasty scale.

He bought the ticket while on licence in 2004. So he's served at least 15 years for his offence and will be in licence for life. There are plenty of lifers who do less than that. Is there a bit of jealousy in this article? It's not as if he's profited in any way for the actual crime by selling his story like some have done in the past.
It seems that as though all his victims were of crimes he commited more than 6 years ago they have no rights to seek compensation.
