Tony Blair's smile
Is it just me who thinks his smile is really scary? Sort of like Jack Nicholson in the Shining, but worse.

For the record smudge i don't find howards smile scary either.. but i'll tell you what i do find scary, islamic fundamentalists, paedophiles, rapists, murderers, its easy to mock democratically elected politicians, physical appearance especially if we disagree with them politically...but to imply that they are scary is too daft for words...
eupraxia - I wouldn't say TB, CB or MH's faces look at all scary, but I admit that MH always looks very pasty & doesn't appear to have the oomph it takes to govern our Country either.
luckyboy - I think this question from Andy008 was meant to be lighthearted, but has unfortunately turned into a slanging match. I agree with you that there are much more important 'scary' issues that need addressing, like the ones mentioned in your post.

Just to round this off - and this time it really will be "end of story" in toto as far as I'm concerned, Smudge - I wonder whether any of you watched 'Election Unspun: What They're Really Thinking' on Channel 4 last night. In this edition, Dr Peter Collett, the Oxford psychologist examined the hidden gestures and body language of the three party leaders, including their smiles. (As an earlier response to this thread pointed out, there are smiles and smiles!) Here is an exact quote from Collett: Blair has "more genuine smiles than the other leaders." Truly terrifying, eh?
