Do Cameron and Salmond have this in common ?
Cameron wont give us referendum on staying in or getting out of Europe at this moment and Salmond wont give the Scots one on independance for 3 years, and neither of them want to ask the single question. They both want to have extra questions . I wonder why ?

But at the moment there are plenty of LibDems, eleven I think. I wonder if they too will be an endangered species after being in Government for five years? And who will be the beneficaries if their vote collapses?
It because neither of them want to give a referendum where people might choose an outcome they don't want.
You know how in the European referendums in Ireland and Holland, they just kept having another referendum with a bit of rewording until the politicians got the answer they wanted in the first place ?
Cameron and Salmond have learnt from that. Rather than having to repeat the referndums, they wait until the right moment and then include all the possible rewordings in the same one, so they're guranteed to get the result they want to at least one of the questions.
