Told you it would catch on.
How do the British manage when we go abroad?
And I don't mean Benidorm.

I couldn't think of anything worse than going to live in Spain on a complex full of narrow minded Brits, only eating British food and watching the soaps on their satalite TV's. If I was going to live abroad I would make sure to live among the locals, socialise with them and eat their food, as far away from the Brit expats as possible.
It annoys me when I go to the cashpoint at my local supermareket and have to confirm what they can do with their offer to have the screen in Welsh before I start. I'm not even in Wales ! I don't need it in any language except the one spoken in the coutry I'm in. Maybe they should ask if I need it in any of the others here too before I start. http://en.wikipedia.o..._of_languages_by_name

/// ummm - much as it pains me - I have to defend AOG's comment.
Subtle, but important difference. ///
/// I'm now going to scrub myself down with Dettol. ///
If you are reading this Zhukov this is typical of what I mean, here we have a ABer who has admitted that he agrees with me, but then that is not good enough, he then cannot help himself but to finish off with a completely unnecessary insult against me.
It is easy to say ignore it, it is only in jest, when one is not the recipient.
Had I said "I shook hands with sp1814, but I then had to disinfect my hand", the 'race card' would be out in a shot.
