Can everybody agree on the right way forward for the NHS

Hi, will it ever be possible to get all the parliamentary parties to agree on a sensible and fair reform of the NHS? I've been watching the news and they seem as poles apart as ever.

Comment in the papers today about charging the Izz heads on a Sat for self inflicted wounds would be a start to recoup some money, why are they not charged?
I think the 1st unwritten law for politics is: Create a problem and then appear to be solving it! What with targets and limiting budgets, it's wonder there is an NHS left to argue about. The government seems to turn a deaf ear to everybody except the yes men who parrot the same mantra! They are trying to beat the welfare state into submission by changing the rules of the game.

I posted what I hoped was a sensible answer about the NHS reforms on this other thread a few days back - and we've already had many discussions abot charging the drunks, we'd have to bring in people to raise all the invoices. The current reforms aren't anything about the hospitals Trusts, it's all about how care is commissioned, not changing how the hospitals deliver care.
