Charity Walk .... Help Thunder See

Saw a man and his dog (husky??) in Lichfield today, dressed in hi-viz and with a charity bucket, saying "Help Thunder See" - I assume Thunder is the dog as his eyes looked to be unusual ............. I would have contributed, but by the time I realised they had gone by ............ does anyone know who he is?

Being a dog lover I would have gone after him to see what it was all about. There are some links on Google if you type in Thunder blind husky dog. Don't know if this will help.

He was walking at quite a pace and by the time I realised he was gone!!

I'm so sorry echokilo, I'm no good at doing links. I've had another look on Google and there is one that tells of a husky called Thunder who is one year old and going blind and the owner can't afford the vet bills to stop this. I am certain this will be the one you will have seen.

Type in '2011 Thunder my husky is going blind'. If it's the same dog, it will be two now.

It's not the same dog sadly - they are talking dollars and this dog wsa in the UK - but thank you for trying.
