The animal kingdom still knows much more about disciplining it's young, that some of their human counterparts tend to ignore.
Great pictures.

Smacking is NOT illegal.
Until animals can talk I think they have no choice in how they discipline their young.
The majority of youngters I know have respect for their parents, teachers, and adults in general.
The older generation need to stop judging the youth of today by the minority. The minority that always existed and always will.

What is your point exactly aog ? Are you saying we don't shout or roar at our infants any more? Or are you trying to make a case for corporal punishment ?
What this bear does doesn't appear to hurt the youngster in the slightest; the idea is to frighten it by noise and disorientation. Indeed, can you cite an example from the animal kingdom where parents wound or injure their young by way of discipline ?

Oh dear. why do you have to take things to their extremes?
I was merely using some very good photographs to highlight the act that some parents are a little lacking in their natural instinct of bringing up their children.
But it appears you are one of those who choose to turn a gentle tap of chastisement into child brutality, this kind of over the top attitude is responsible for some of the the problems of today's young.
