Right Place, Right Time

Just saw on Twitter the local police appealing for witnesses to an assault.

It took place in a car park in town last Thursday at 6.30pm. I was in that car park at that time. Although I was busy buying a KFC on the opposite side.

Not that I would have been any use had I actually seen anything but I feel a little sorry that I didn't notice anything.

Have you ever had anything like that happen to you? Or even witnessed something unpleasant while you were casually minding your own business.

I've witnessed loads of assaults. Some quite bad.

somone under the train being cleared away right below the place I was sitting..
Housemate at time was in a chemist when armed robbers came in...

I saw a jet-ski crash into one of the piers, killing the driver instantly and thought I was watching his passenger drown.......:o(

i've seen some nasty assaults. saw a guy get his nose bitten off. that was hideous.

also have seens triggs nekkid that was scary

I was in my local town centre some years back and for some reason I took a different route to that which I normally take and heard two very loud bangs and then utter chaos everywhere. The IRA had planted two bombs in litter bins right by where I would have walked, but because I took a different route I missed it and just witnessed the ensuing carnage. I shook for nearly two hours afterwards and two children (amongst others) died. Nightmare.

A lot of it mic, yeah...but most of it was in other pubs.

I witnessed a jet ski crash in Cyprus. Boyfriend crashed with his girlfriend killing her. I was near them on the beach.

Me too chapta, it was near Tottenham Court Road tube station when it happened to me.

I about 20 metres away when a thief was shot on the beach in Rio. However, it was the police that shot him!

I was in a bank when it was robbed - balaclavas, shotguns etc ... very scary

The worst thing I have witnessed (which I have mentioned before on here) was a girl commit suicide from the top of a hotel and she landed in front on my car...not pleasant at all.

I have been in the vicinity of an exploding bomb and have been held at knife point - I have yet to witness anything terrible
