Shouldn't this guy be prosecuted?

Apart from morals which have been discussed at great length on A/B, by his own admission he is guilty of destruction of hotel property by tearing out pages from Bibles simply because he does not agree with what is printed therein, Bibles that are placed there for everyone to read.
Chapters 18 and 20 of Leviticus, which form part of the Holiness code, contain the following verses:
'' Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is an abomination.''[1](Leviticus 18:22 KJV)
How dare he dictate what others shall or shall not read, who does he think he is?

The Bible is left there for who ever wants to read it. If anyone doesn't want to for whatever reason, they have only to put it away in a drawer and forget about. Not wantonly destroy other people's property.

not a great fan myself of ripping up other people's books because I disagree with the contents. I tend not to read the Bibles, the minibar price lists or the room service menus, as the temptation is too great; but I am comfortable having them in the same room with me as long as they do not call out to me during the night.
Ron, these Bibles are given to hotels to distribute freely in the hotel rooms by the Gideons International.
Large hotels will have stocks of them as GI really don't mind if the occupant takes them away, so it cannot be theft or destruction or destruction of hotel property.
The GI leave copies of the Bible at many other public places.

Inasmuch as that book will be replaced very quickly, Ron.
The GI is well aware that some people may choose to violate the books but continue to distribute them in hope and faith.
The very fact that Gideons Bibles can still be found in public places despite the malicious actions of a few and the current political correctness that is souring society is something to be celebrated, don't you think?
