I totally agree Zeuhi, I've been saying this all week. Mind you yesterday Hubby asked me to get petrol and I returned with none saying " I'm not bl00dy paying them prices".
Today he asked me again as we were in the red, I past 3 petrol stations on my way to Asda thinking I'd get it on the way back only to find that by then they had run out.
Hubby has gone to night shift not knowing if he will be pushing the car home.

Agreed zeuhl...any rise will simply dip again as people use up their stores.

people will only spend the same amount on fuel per year as always...

in fact some people may drive even less for fear of wasting it ... so notions that its all been a moneymaking scam are crazy as it will backfire...

Don't know but our local petrol station ran out, but got a delivery the next morning. However they put the price up 3p a litre it was £1.41 a litre but next morning after the new delivery it had gone up to £1.44 . Now the garage hes no queues but the price is still £1.44 bet it doesn't go down again.

And the BP garage here covered all the prices while there were long queues at all the pumps.
