Why do Labour voters hold the misconceived idea that Labour supports the 'working man', when once they gain power they are up to the same type of tricks as most other parties politicians?

George Galloway is a not a Labour politician.
Plus the fact that this is just the same tired old mud slinging from the Tory press.

These people employ staff - If they don't set up a company then they pay tax on their earnings and then pay tax a second time on their wages.

Perhaps you think your local builder should do that too!

I think you should reserve your ire for millilionaire business men sitting in the House of Lords not paying a penny in tax because they "live" in Belize!

// However the right are more barefaced, smug & arrogant about it, when in power, while your so called percieved left try to hide their guilt when approached. //

That is not how the Ken and Boris spat played out. Boris was very angry that his tax arrangments were being discussed.

I am not sure anyone has believed Labour supports the working man for a long time. Blair and Brown were very much business focussed. They never repealled any of the previous Conservative Government's Trade Union legislation for instance. The notion that Labour favours the working man disappeared forty years ago. No one believes that today.

Strange how you cannot seem to grasp that Galloway beat a Labour candidate and a muslim one.

Sadly, I think many people do.
Oh yes they do gromit. I asked my friend why she had voted Labour at the last election and she gave that very reason.
13 years of Blair and Brown, and people still cling to that notion? Very odd.
