Was mega organised and ordered my Son and his friend's birthdays cards a few weeks ago even though their birthdays aren't until July. They are both really into this computer game and I saw this person on ebay doing personalised cards featuring this game and got them while I remembered. They arrived, I had a quick look and then put them into the bookcase in the study to keep them safe and somewhere I would remember and the kids don't go.
Anyway, went to have a look at them earlier tonight as I suddenly thought that I hadn't really checked them properly. Could I find them?????? No!!! was going demented, taking all the books out checking all the shelves even though I know I put them with the recipe books (I live with a man and two boys - that's pretty much my shelf!) Anyhoo OH comes in to see what I am doing, so I explain and then he says, "oh yeah, I saw those, I didn't know what they were so I chucked them"
I quite often come across things that I don't know exactly what they are, I find it quite useful to actually ask or leave them alone.
lol Ann - it did cross my mind, but they only cost a couple of quid, so not worth doing time over!!! - he can bloody order them this time though.....but on 2nd thoughts, Christ knows what names/ages he'd get on them!!
wouldn't mind so much, but he left a cardboard box with plastic bag and tags etc from a pair of running trousers he had bought, lying on the livingroom floor for a week before I cracked and binned it. Then he moaned that he was intending to return them - after he had cut of all the labels (but he'd kept them so that's okay right?!?!) and having worn them out on a bike ride as he then decided they were a bit baggy round his arse!! lol
When my kids were little I loaded the car with stuff for the tip and got my OH to take it there. Unfortunately he also dumped the almost new booster seat that was in there!
I'd have killed him. Why would you chuck out something that's clearly not yours especially if you don't even know what it is. Some men are beyond belief sometimes.
I do a lot of sewing and had a black sack of scraps which I stupidly left in the dining room. Going on a caravan holiday I decided to hide my few bits of good jewelllery and daughter`s christening silver in the bag thinking burglars would never look there. Didn`t think either that OH would take the bag to the tip before I remembered to take the jewellery and silver out.
Shortened forms constantly confuse most people. If they signify the name of a qualification, a higher educatoin institutions or perhaps childish short version of a word or phrase, you're normally confused in the case of some of these acronyms. There are thousands of acronyms that might cause you to wish to go insane. Then, almost all acronyms usually have a wide range of definitions! One specific 3-letter phrase is SMH. Offered underneath are the different variations of this specific acronym.
OOh my god Annie, i think my hubby is leading a double life! he Does it all the time and i really do want to smash his stupid face in! I can't fathom him! He'll leave old bits of tat lying around but Chuck my stuff out. He always seems genuinely sorry, and can't really explain why he's done it!
I'm gobsmacked there's another like him! X
