ditto...however he is back in hospital for further treatment..perhaps raking it all up again was not such a good idea..he did seem uncomfortable and a bit hyper at times...wish him well...
I like Frank Bruno generally but I too felt he was a bit uncomfortable but then it's a hell of a thing having your life disected on TV in front of a live audience. Hope he's feeling better soon.
Frank is an excellent ambassador for Britain, I do hope he makes a full, long term recovery.

Morning TWR & everyone,
I enjoyed watching this last night. I thought he came across as a very loving grounded person. I love the fact he's passing on all he's learnt to the younger ones training to be boxers.
A good ambassador? I did not see the programme. Did the subject of beating his wife not come up?
Watched it last night, great show. Love how he laughs, shame about his mental health probs though.
bit like the legend gazza ttfn
its nice to see his children are very supportive of to him,,,,,,, :)

That was not mentioned TTFN & I don't think it should have, whatever has happened in his private life should remain private, there is enough sht going through the tabloids, the bloke has / is going through a bad patch in his life & I was glad that this was not mentioned by Piers, as said he is an ambassador for his country not like these jumped up bloody footballers, the ones that cry if someone kicks them in the shins.
He's more like a big cuddly bear then a fighting person.
Morning TWR. I thought the idea of the programme was to give an insight to the whole person. Perhaps it was agreed before hand not to cover this aspect, but it does not 'wipe the slate clean'. I don't agree with the 'good ambassador' tag - just my opinion.

I'm sure a lot of people have been there TTFN, the problem is when you are in the public's eyes ( The Tabloids)
If you have problems TWR, why put yourself in the front line of publicity - saying that - I quite like him.

I was always under the impression talking helps Brenden1 I sure advise was given by his family / doctors as to this interview.
Quite agree with you TWR, talking does help but not to the media - you just leave yourself wide open to a backlash which (if it were me ) would cause me to be more depressed.
He has always come across to me as the gentle giant, and I wish him well.
