Sewing Recommendations For Beginner?

Hi.
I wanted to test out my new Subaru Impreza's high end speed, I think it'll do above 160mph. Is there any chance I can join the police force temporarily so that I can do those speeds on the road for a while without getting knicked?

I saw the police spokesman on this morning "It mast be hemphazized thit this min was ay haighly skeelled drivah".
ARE YOU MAD?
From my memory of police anti-speeding leaflets "Most speeders consider that they are 'better drivers than everyone else.'"
Isn't there an absolute point where skill is not really a factor? At 160mph you are simply not able to react in time to someone pulling out 1/4 mile ahead.
(Sorry if I sound so impassioned, my old man was killed and I was nearly killed in an accident due to a motorway speeder, so needless to say talk of 'skilled police drivers' cuts little ice).
Having got the requisite 3 points & 60 fine for doing 37mph in a 30mph zone during daylight hours, (fair enough) - stories like these make my blood boil.
So what if it was the middle of the night - we're not just talking a little bit over but 3 times the speed limit at times. People are perfectly entitled to walk the streets at that time - and do ! (think shift workers, party goers etc.)
Had he requested - and received - permission for testing out this car at that time and in those places ??? ...... think not, so don't see how, if acting independently, it qualifies as "official" police practice.
I support the Police generally but this makes me spit .... PC or not this was a boy playing with his toy and therefore no different to the chavvy boy racers who think they're so-oooo clever. Letting him off because he's admittedly a highly qualified and skilled driver simply says that it's ok to break the law if you've got a certificate or two.
Per rod's thread, maybe he should get one of these:

Second that. Except you can't really go around sacking judges. They are there, after all, to judge, and he judged that this man was doing a great job honing his driving skills.
Just think...people will be killed as an indirect result of this judgement. It'll give the green light to a lot more speeding, and we know what that means.
If the prosecution were worth their salt they would appeal.
