I know cash is short but this is taking things to the extremes in a bid to get your money back.
But to be serious, who would wish to live in London?

Oh dear whatever next the Guardian are also reporting on this rather trivial happening in London.
But are any of you 'Righties' complaining, of course not, I didn't think so, we will read anything.

i am amazed i wasn't in the vicinity this time, because i have been before. Years ago when the IRA to blow us to kingdom come, and not very far from Russell Square when the bus bomb went off. It's horrible, but what can you do. It may be news, but quite frankly Londoners just get on with things, that is how it's always been, and always will be.
AOG, how does one qualify to be a 'righty' ? (I'm hoping )What's your definition of one?
London is not like a small town; some areas are better than others and all differ. Is it that you would never live in a big city? Or has London got some features which mark it as particularly undesirable among cities ?

AOG - think the second report is more balanced than the Mail's sensationalist reporting. The incident was done and dusted in 45 minutes (source BBC London News) and yes there was some inconvenience to people in the vicinity but it's not a major event. And what has this got to do with 'living in London'. Could have happened anywhere. Whilst London may not appeal to you, a great many people live, work and socialise here. Yes there's rough areas as there are everywhere but given the size and the cosmopolitan make up of its population it is a pretty vibrant place with loads to do, see and admire. Stop pigeon-holeing people is my advice.
