I think people in general are less considerate of others, more selfish - it doesn't apply to everyone, but there's an element of "don't care" these days.
don't think so... jno jnr is about as considerate of his aged parents as I was of mine, ie not very.
I should imagine that parents from every generation have said exactly the same.
Not sure. I think teenagers have always had a 'the world owes me a living' attitude.
lot's of i'm alright jack, and a don't care attitude about too many things.
I think the youngsters of today are far less considerate. They want to do what they want and you cannot tell them anything as they know it all. We were brought up to respect our elders otherwise you had a clip round the ear. I know that some youngsters are quite polite most of the time but tend to get worse as they get older. Having said that, some Older folk are so inconsiderate to us younger ones as if the world owes them a living and some dont have any manners at all !
I just dread what the generation looking after me in my old age are going to be like.
Or maybe it was just me that was a selfish little sh*t as a teenager.
Perhaps your generation has turned into a bunch of moaning minnies ?

Example, did you see the face of that girl, the one that was with her mother on BGT Last night?
Yep i saw it, good example there TWR.
I am not a moaning minnie MT If people respect me, then I respect them too no matter what their age. I am a very considerate person and will always try to help people even if I dont like them, but Ive been used so many times by folk taking me for granted, that I sometimes wondered why I bother, but I still do `cos thats just me. Some folk would not even stop if they saw someone in difficulty.
Although you use that example of the girl on BGT last night. That poor girl has probably been forced from a young age into something she doesn't want to do, and knows that it's just for her mother's own gratification. Did you see the look on her mother's face when they said her daughter was good, she was furious!
How can you expect the daughter to care about other people when the mother hasn't shown her that care?
Question Author
I 'm sure we have all been there T.O.H.
BGT ... Yes TWR .... Her face was a bit like Micks bum ;0)
Question Author
I'm sure the girl had the ability to say, I'm not going on that show Chocolate, regards her mother,I dare not say it.
Plus, I do think that all generations are stereotyped way too much. There are some right miserable inconsiderate older people ( I assure you, I've worked in a post office/ newsagent) and rude inconsiderate young people. But there is also some lovely ones out there too!
I would have thought most generations have different outlook than the generation before and after them
