Up to now the consensus seems to say, this is perfectly acceptable behaviour from the Bermuda authorities.

I wonder what the response would have been if the British had kicked out a Bermuda family for similar reasons?

AOG, I used to live in Bermuda. Because it is such a small place they have very strict work permit rules.

Well, it seems to be all about qualifications and since they are now redundant with no qualifications, the Bermudean Government feel that they are not contributing to the economy.

Seems sensible to me.

I am all for immigration providing that they have the qualifications that are needed in the UK and are contributing to the economy of our country.
